This was one of my highlights from science. The project was called Organelle Wars. Basically, each team was assigned an organelle, and we had an election on which organelle should become the new president of Cell Land. The process was really fun because everyone was very competitive and everyone was trash talking the other groups. We also made alliances with organelles that work together. My group was assigned mitochondria, an organelle that produces respiration and energy in the cell. We created a video, trying to convince people to vote for mitochondria, and we won in a four-way tie.
