Hi, my name is Abby, and I am an Adventure student. Being an Adventure student is a privalage for me because unlike other schools, we have a higher level of education. Also, we learn things that aren't taught in a regular elementary school, such as how to make an online video game. There are so many advantages that we learn to do(including collarboration, team effort, and how everyone gets along).

 

Adventure is something that I like to "brag about" because I'm proud of our school, teachers, students, and education. We learn a lot of things online which is also not found in regular schools. I think Adventure is about shaping our future; our jobs, education, and descisions that we make. 

 

In Adventure, we learn science, technogoly, engineering, math, and soon arts! It's a STEM program and what I just mentioned is what it stnds for. The teachers here all teach very well, and makes our experiences hands on. We worked on a lot of projects this year such as Genius Hour, Plan Your Vacation, Charity Fair, We Are What We Do, and more.

 

In science, we usually learn a topic for a couple of days, and do science experiments so that we understand what's going on. In math, we use a CPM textbook to guide us, with a project week every so often. In elective, we worked mostly on engineering and making an educational platformed game. In language arts, we study different articles and do worksheets off of it. In history, we studied ancient history, and in P.E. we learned many different sports and played them each for a couple of weeks.

 

All in all, Adventure STEM is an awesome program, and we learn alot. Can't wait till next year!
