This project was a really fun(ny) to work on, partly because of my teammates and partially because of the humor added to the video. Welcome to the Great Spill of 2016. This was a project where we were given an unknown substance, and used what we knew about pH numbers, chemicals, elements, and chemistry, to figure out what the substance is and what can neutralize it. We figured out by smell and the pH number that our substance was vinegar. To our "surprise", we were correct and used soap and water to neutralize the acid. The next part of the project was creating a short newscast for if this were to hypothetically happen. The video was something we came up with originally, which is the reason I would like to present this as my best work in science class.
