CSPAN's StudentCam 2017 competition has competitors from around the nation creating videos that address a current issue that the president can attempt to fight against. We started this project before elections, so we weren't sure which route to take, but my group and I decided to risk it and do a project that addresses our refugee crisis. Even though it's a very delicate topic, we wanted to address a real, ongoing problem with all the refugees fleeing from war. I was the one in the group who filmed everything and edited the video because of my knowledge of the middle east. The thumbnail you see in the video, and the pictures and clips you may see in the video, by clicking on the picture, are actually some from  my trip to the middle east. Because this project was very moving, eye-opening, and challenging, it is one of my best works in this class.
